How it works

Three steps. Done.

No account. No setup. Two ways to import — paste the syllabus text or use your Webcourses iCal URL.

📋

Grab your Webcourses content

Log into Webcourses@UCF at webcourses.ucf.edu. Copy the syllabus text from your course page, or go to Calendar → "Calendar Feed" in the lower right to copy your iCal URL.

Paste and parse

Drop the syllabus text or iCal URL into SyllabusAI. Every exam, assignment, quiz, and due date gets pulled out and tagged in seconds.

📅

Export to Google Calendar

Click "Open in Google Calendar" and every event lands where it should. Or download a .ics file to import yourself.

Two ways to import

Pick whichever takes less effort.

Both paths end up at the same place — your Webcourses deadlines in Google Calendar.

📄 Paste syllabus text

Open your course at webcourses.ucf.edu, go to the Syllabus tab, select all and copy. Paste it into SyllabusAI. Works with table-format and narrative-format syllabi.

Paste text →

🔗 Use Webcourses iCal URL

In Webcourses@UCF, open Calendar. Look in the lower-right corner of any Calendar view (Month, Week, or Agenda) — you'll see a "Calendar Feed" link. Copy that ICS URL and paste it here.

FAQ

UCF Webcourses + Google Calendar questions.

Straight answers. No fluff.

Does this work with UCF's Webcourses at webcourses.ucf.edu?

Yes. UCF calls it Webcourses@UCF, but it runs on Canvas under the hood. Two ways to import: paste the syllabus text you copied out of webcourses.ucf.edu, or grab your Webcourses iCal feed URL from the Calendar section. Either path gets every event into Google Calendar.

UCF calls it Webcourses, not Canvas — does that matter?

No. Webcourses@UCF is Canvas — UCF just uses their own branding. SyllabusAI works with any Canvas instance including webcourses.ucf.edu. The iCal feed URL and syllabus format are identical to standard Canvas.

Where do I find my Webcourses calendar feed URL?

In Webcourses, go to Calendar. In the lower-right of any Calendar view (Month, Week, or Agenda), you'll see a "Calendar Feed" link. Click it and copy the ICS URL. Paste that URL into SyllabusAI.

Will this import recurring assignments from Webcourses?

Yes. When you use the iCal feed URL, recurring events from Webcourses import as individual dated events in Google Calendar so each due date shows up separately — not buried in a repeating pattern.

Is this free?

Yes — free to start, no credit card. The free plan includes 3 syllabus parses, 5 Google Calendar syncs, and 25 AI study queries every rolling 30 days, which covers a typical semester setup. Power users can upgrade to Pro at $6.99/month for unlimited parsing and syncs.

Will this mess up my existing Google Calendar?

No. You get a separate .ics file or a new Google Calendar link. Your existing events stay exactly where they are.

Is my syllabus stored anywhere?

No. Your syllabus text is processed to extract dates and events, then discarded. We don't store, log, or sell your content.
